DESIGN CONCEPT STATEMENT

Liberty Blue Living veteran center is designed to promote sustainability and efficiency. This building includes dimmable lights, local products and furniture, reusable materials, and other elements to allow the residents of the space to feel included in their community. In addition, this living center is inclusive to all types of veterans. Because each person is different, this environment was constructed with a goal in mind to design an interchangeable space to accommodate each person. The Liberty Blue Living center includes multiple seating heights, several types of seating textures, and flexible seating arrangements. On the other hand, this center is designed to encourage positive emotional reactions for veterans. Liberty Blue Living is an environment that demonstrates happy living by incorporating tall skylights for natural lighting to encourage positivity.
